The WiFi version connects directly to the Solity app via your 2.4GHz home network. The Matter version uses the Matter smart home protocol and can integrate directly with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Samsung SmartThings without a separate Solity hub. If you already use one of those platforms, choose Matter. If you prefer the Solity app, choose WiFi.
