Locks that are generally cheaper are usually parallel import sets.
We do not recommend getting parallel imports as they have not been approved by the Singapore Government (IMDA) or gotten the locks tested.
Parallel import sets do not have local support, so having no local support would risk of you being stuck in or outdoors.
So in case of any emergency, parallel importers might not have a 24/7 service to attend to you.
Digital Locks uses double A batteries and we highly recommend using Panasonic Evolta and Duracell alkaline as they have anti-leak seals to prevent battery leakage.
For remote controls we would recommend using Panasonic Evolta CR2032 batteries OR Panasonic Evolta triple A batteries.
For digital mailbox locks we recommend using Panasonic Evolta CR1220 batteries
We at AN Digital Lock recommends customer to change their batteries once every 6 months to prevent battery leakage.
We recommend using Panasonic Evolta or Duracell Alkaline to prolong the life of your digital locks as some other brands or models of batteries might be too powerful or too weak which might cause issues to your digital lock in the long run.
Installation of digital locks and accessories would take between 1 to 4 hours.
